With the majority of the trip being camping, we can shop for fresh local produce and prepare meals according to the group tastes. Breakfast will usually be cereals, toast, fresh fruit, etc however on occasion we can do a hot breakfast. Lunches on drive days will be provided, usually meat and salad rolls, etc. Your Tour Leader will roster everyone onto cooking duties, this is your chance to show your cooking skills! Dinners will vary according to what’s available, but will always be plentiful and fresh. Vegetarians can easily be catered for as well.

 

All accommodation is included in the trip price. Whilst camping we provide dome tents on a twin share basis, or you are welcome to bring your own tent for your own privacy. In some destinations there are pre-erected multi share tents and cabins as well. In the bigger cities we stay in comfortable centrally located hostels. There is usually a chance to upgrade to double / twin rooms in most places. If you are travelling by yourself you will be rooming with like minded people of the same sex.

 

We provide all the cooking and camping equipment, you just need to bring a sleeping bag and roll mat, as well as a pillow if you like the comfort.

The tents are of the two person dome variety with extra storage room at each end for your backpacks / bags, plus a rain proof fly sheet. They are very easy to erect and if you are travelling on your own you will share with a like minded traveller.

 

To make this a hands-on adventure trip, everyone joins in with shopping, cooking and setting up camp on a roster basis.
