From the modern cities of Sydney and Melbourne to the outback towns of Daly Waters, Cooper Pedy and Broome, our modern air-conditioned coaches cover everything that the great southern land has to offer.

Our combinations of camping in remote locations to centrally located hostels make your night stays both adventurous and comfortable. You can sit out under the stars or stumble in after a big night out, it’s up to you!

There are times when we will have some long drives in order to cover big distances, but on most days that we travel, we only move for half the day. We also offer plenty of adventure activities such as white water rafting and bungy jumping, as well as wine tasting and historic walks for the more discerning travellers.  All meals are covered while camping, plus breakfasts when in the big cities.

We always try to arrive at our destination before nightfall (except under extenuating circumstances) in order to check into our accommodation and have time for dinner.

 

OzBus believes in sustainable eco-tourism and support, using, wherever possible, other organisations who feel the same way. They'll get you up close and personal with the local population as safely as they can, as well as help you understand the culture without damaging delicate eco-systems.

 

You need to be in good health, reasonably fit, and of like-minded spirit and attitude.

There is no particular type of person that travels on OzBus. Some travel in groups but many travel as individuals as it is a great way of meeting people. Some have travelled extensively and others are travelling for the first time. If you want fun, adventure and to visit places off the beaten track in countries where the day to day life is as interesting as the major sites, OzBus Down Under is for you. You also should be prepared to join in with the general chores of camping, there’s nothing better than camping in the outback!

All that we require from you is that you have an adventurous spirit, a strong sense of fun and a longing to see Australia as it really is.
